Look out! The Kickstarter campaign for Don’t Starve: The Board Game launches in less than a week, on September 30! Be there with us to discover all the things already waiting to dazzle you from day one!
Back the game within the first 72 hours and claim your FREE Early Bird mini expansion reward—the fully playable character Wolfgang, complete with all his game components and a digital skin for use in Don’t Starve Together.

Since many of you have expressed interest in supporting the project through installments, we’re happy to inform you that we are employing Kickstarter’s new pledge-over-time feature, which lets you split your pledge into 3 monthly payments. The first charge happens when the project ends, while the next two are billed automatically each month.
You’ll see your payment schedule at checkout, and you can always track your pledge status on the Backed Projects page on Kickstarter.
Also, if you haven’t yet, you still have time to press the ‘Notify me on launch’ button on the preview page for the project to become a follower and have the Constant Curiosities mini-expansion added to your game for free once you pledge!

You’ve Unlocked New Structure Standees!
With over 57,000 followers, we’ve maxed out the curios available in the Constant Curiosities! Before we move on to today’s unlock, here’s a summary of the awesome stuff already in the mini expansion:
- 2 new objective cards for the highly replayable, Wendy-themed scenario Last Wish.
- 2 new items, including the Morning Star and the iconic Pick/Axe, as well as new cooking recipes for Butter Muffins and Pierogi.
- 4 new location cards to further expand the game world.
- 2 new blueprints for exclusive structures: the Night Light and the Meat Effigy.
- A new Pick/Axe skin for use in the video game Don’t Starve Together, to directly tie into the board game.
- 4 new Weather cards, one for each season in the game.
- 3 new Map Setup cards and 2 new Needs tiles (1 for easy difficulty and 1 for hard mode).
Today, the structures you can build using the blueprints from the fourth unlock—the Meat Effigy and the Night Light—are getting their own cardboard standees! Your Home Base wouldn’t look half as good without them!
Weavers of the Web
No survival game would be complete without spiders. Born scary to humans regardless of size, in Don’t Starve: The Board Game they are frequently encountered in the Woodlands biome. Hunt them down to gather silk and spider glands— resources commonly used to craft weather-protective gear and tools that require strong threads. Just don’t get yourself cocooned! Unless you’re Webber, in which case they’ll gladly follow you as their friend.
